Course Description | David Raby
What does it mean to develop a strong, mature, and effective Christian faith in a world of competing ideas and influences? In this nine-lesson course, David Raby explores how believers can build their lives upon the unchanging foundation of God’s Word, develop a biblical worldview, and grow in Christlikeness.
Beginning with the importance of a Christian worldview and examining the contrast between biblical creation and theistic evolution, the course challenges students to let Scripture shape their understanding of God, the world, and their place in His purposes. Students will explore what it means to walk in the light of God’s Word, stand firmly in the truth, and develop the wisdom and discernment needed to evaluate ideas, make godly decisions, and apply biblical principles to everyday life.
The final lessons focus on becoming a thinking and godly Christian through spiritual growth, renewed thinking, biblical self-evaluation, prayer, Bible study, and obedience to the Holy Spirit. Emphasising the importance of discipleship, spiritual maturity, and living with eternity in view, this course encourages believers to move beyond simply knowing biblical truth to putting it into practice.
The goal is a faith that is firmly grounded in Scripture, centred on the Lord Jesus Christ, and demonstrated through a transformed life that honours God.
